Little Broncos Academy
Formerly Serendipity Childcare, Little Broncos Academy is a new childcare center located 1 mile past the Hampden town line that offers high-quality care for children ages 6weeks to 12 years. Our programs are designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. We believe the best way to learn is through play. However, we have a structured curriculum as well as a play based therefore we have developed our programs accordingly to children's social, emotional and creative development. All caregivers have specialized state trainings and are certified in all aspects of their job. All children will have outside time daily as well as access to an indoor gym during inclement weather. There will be bus pick-up and drop-off here at Little Broncos Academy for all Hampden school age kids.
Infant care 6 weeks to 24 months.
At Little Broncos Academy, we offer specialized infant care. Meaning that instead of your infant being in a room with many other children, your infant will be with other children their age. With 1 teacher per 4 infants, your child will get more one on one attention. Our infant teachers are all certified in Infant CPR/ARD and first aid, SIDS, age-appropriate development and are required to have yearly trainings through our state programs. Our experienced caregivers provide a safe and supportive environment where infants can explore, play, and develop essential skills. We prioritize individualized attention and age-appropriate activities including, but not limited to, music and reading times to promote healthy growth and development. Our older infants will be working on gross motor skills, speech and language skills, sharing and creative play. Your young toddler is becoming more mobile so providing critical toys, music, crafts and reading times will help with their overall development and get them ready with more structured activities as they grow.
Toddler Care 2 years to 3.5 years
In our toddler room, we will be working on social and emotional skills, potty training, crafts, creativity, playing well with others, friendships, and all the things that make your toddler uniquely them. These are the years when we begin preparing children for Pre‑Kindergarten with a little more structure, gentle routines, and hands‑on activities that support early learning. Toddlers are busy, curious, and full of energy, and we have just the teachers to keep up with them.
Throughout the day, children explore sensory play, music and movement, early literacy experiences, and activities that build both fine‑ and gross‑motor skills. They practice daily concepts such as shapes, colors, numbers, and yoga, while also learning independence through simple self‑help routines like handwashing, cleaning up, and making choices. Our teachers guide toddlers through big feelings, encourage positive interactions, and help them develop confidence as they grow.
By the time they are ready to transition to our Pre‑K room, toddlers leave this space with stronger communication skills, emerging academic foundations, and a sense of independence that sets them up for success in the next stage of learning.
Pre‑K Program - Ages 3.5–5
Our Pre‑K Program is designed to give children a strong, confident start to their educational journey. Using the PreK for ME curriculum, our teachers guide children through hands‑on learning experiences that build early literacy, math readiness, problem‑solving, and social‑emotional skills. Each day includes interactive learning stations, creative projects, structured routines, and purposeful play that help children develop independence and a love of learning.
Children in our Pre‑K room explore stories, early writing, number concepts, science investigations, and imaginative play while also practicing cooperation, communication, and self‑help skills. Our goal is to ensure every child leaves Pre‑K feeling prepared, capable, and excited for kindergarten.
Before & After School Program (Ages 5–11)
Our Before and After School Program provides a safe, welcoming space for children ages 5–11 to start and end their school day with comfort and connection. Students can unwind with friends, enjoy creative projects, explore our gym and commercial playground, or participate in engaging activities that support social development and confidence. In addition to daily before‑ and after‑school care, we also offer full‑day coverage on snow days, in‑service days, school vacations, and throughout the summer, giving families a consistent and reliable option year‑round. Whether children are easing into their morning or wrapping up a busy school day, our program offers a supportive environment where they can play, learn, and feel at home.
